Guarantee of Freedom of Religion for both the Muslims and Non-Muslim Minorities
(the Jews)
عربی
و أن يهود بني عوف أمة مع المومنين، لليهود دينهم، وللمسلمين دينهم، مواليهم و أنفسهم إلا من ظلم و
أثم، فإنه لا يوتغ إلا نفسه و أهل بيته.

The Jews of Banu Awf (non-Muslim minorities) shall be considered a community
alongwith the believers. They shall be guaranteed the right of religious freedom
along with the Muslims. The right shall be conferred on their associates as well
as themselves except those who are guilty of oppression or the violators of
treaties. They will bring evil only on themselves and their family.
اردو
اور بنی عوف کے یہودی، مومنین کے ساتھ ایک سیاسی وحدت تسلیم کئے جاتے ہیں۔ یہودیوں
کیلئے ان کا دین ہے اور مسلمانوں کیلئے اپنا دین ہے خواہ ان کے موالی ہوں یا وہ بذات
خود ہوں، ہاں جو ظلم یا عہد شکنی کا ارتکاب کرے تو اس کی ذات یا گھرانے کے سوا کوئی
مصیبت میں مبتلا نہیں کیا جائے گا۔

The Jews of Banu Tha'laba shall enjoy the same rights as granted to the Jews of
Banu Awf except those who are guilty of oppression or violate treaties, they
will bring evil only on themselves and their family.

The Jews of Banu Shutayba shall enjoy the same rights as granted to the Jews of
Banu Awf. There shall be complete compliance (with this constitution) and no
violation (of its clauses) .

Final Command and Authority in Military Expeditions Vests in the Prophet
Muhammad (SAW)
عربی
و أنه لا يخرج منهم أحد إلا بإذن محمد.
انگلش
Verily, none among the allies shall advance (on a military expedition) without
the prior permission of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) (in whom vests the final
command and authority) .
اردو
اور یہ کہ ان میں سے کوئی بھی محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی اجازت کے بغیر (فوجی
کارروائی کے لئے) نہیں نکلے گا۔

قانون قصاص سے کوئی مستشنی نہیں ہے
No Exception from the Law of Retaliation
عربی
و أنه لا ينحجز علی ثأر جرح.

There shall be no impediment on anyone who wishes to avenge a wound.
اردو
اور کسی مار، زخم کا بدلہ لینے میں کوئی رکاوٹ نہیں ڈالی جائے گی۔

قتل ناحق کی ذمہ داری
Responsibility of Unlawful Killing
عربی
و أنه من فتک فبنفسه فتک و أهل بيته إلا من ظلم و أن اﷲ علی أبر هذا.
انگلش
Whoever commits an unlawful killing shall be responsible for it himself with his
family members but he is exepmted in case he kills a cruel. Verily, Allah (is
the Trust Helper) supports those who adhere completely to this Constitution.
اردو
جو خونریزی کرے تو اس کی ذات اور اس کا گھرانہ ذمہ دار ہوگا، الا یہ کہ اس پر ظلم
ہوا ہو۔ اور خدا اس کے ساتھ ہے جو اس (دستور العمل) کی زیادہ سے زیادہ وفا شعارانہ
تعمیل کرے۔

یہود اور مسلمانوں کا حالت جنگ میں اپنے اپنے اخراجات کا جداگانہ برداشت کرنا
Separate Liability of War Expenses
عربی
و أن علی اليهود نفقتهم، و علی المسلمين نفقتهم.

The Jews and the Muslims shall bear their own war expenses separately.

Compulsory Mutual Help to one another in Case of War

و أن بينهم النصر علی من حارب أهل هذه الصحيفة.

There shall be mutual help between one another against those who engage in war
with the allies of this document.
اردو
اور جو کوئی اس دستور والوں سے جنگ کرے تو ان (یہودیوں اور مسلمانوں) میں باہم
امداد عمل میںآئے گی۔

باہمی صلح اور مشاورت
Mutual Consultation
and Honourable Dealing
عربی
و أن بينهم النصح والنصيحة و البردون الإثم.
انگلش
There shall be mutual consultation and honourable dealing between the allies and
there shall be the fulfilment not the violation, of all pledges.
اردو
اور ان میں باہم حسن مشورہ اور بہی خواہی ہوگی، اور وفا شعاری ہوگی نہ کہ عہد شکنی۔
آرٹیکل نمبر47
معاہدہ توڑنے کی مخالفت اور مظلوم کی امدا د کا حکم
Law of Prohibition of Treachery and Help of the Oppressed
عربی
و أنه لا يأثم امرء بحليفه، و أن النصر للمظلوم.
انگلش
No one shall violate the pledge due to his ally and verily, help shall be given
to the oppressed.
اردو
کوئی فریق یا جماعت اپنے کسی حلیف کی وجہ سے معاہدہ کی خلاف ورزی نہیں کرے گی اور
مظلوم کی داد رسی لازماً کی جائے گی۔
آرٹیکل نمبر 48
یہود (غیر مسلم اقلیتیں) بھی زمانہ جنگ میں
ریاست کی مالی معاونت کریں گی۔
The Jews (non-Muslim Minorities) shall also Extend Financial Support to the
State during the War Period
عربی
و أن اليهود ينفقون مع المؤمنين ما داموا محاربين.

The Jews (non-Muslim minorities) along with the believers shall extend financial
support to the State during the war period.
اردو
اور یہودی اس وقت تک مومنین کے ساتھ (جنگی) اخراجات برداشت کرتے رہیں گے جب تک کہ وہ
مل کر جنگ کرتے رہیں۔

ریاست کے مختلف طبقات کے درمیان جنگ اور قتل و غارت گری کی ممانعت
Prohibition of Fighting and Bloodshed among the Various Communities of the
State.
عربی
و أن يثرب حرام جوفها لأ هل هذه الصحيفة.
انگلش
The valley of Yathrib is sacred and there shall be prohibition of fighting and
bloodshed among the various communities of the State.
اردو
اور یثرب کا جوف (یعنی میدان جو پہاڑوں سے گھرا ہوا ہے) اس دستور والوں کے لئے حرم
(دارالامن) ہوگا (یعنی یہاں آپس میں جنگ کرنا منع ہوگا)۔

آئینی و ریاستی امن پانے والے ہر شخص کی
جان حفاظت میں برابر ہوگی۔
Equal Right of Life Protection shall be Granted to Everyone, Who has been Given
the Constitutional Shelter
عربی
و أن الجار کالنفس غير مضارولا آثم.
انگلش
A person given constitutional shelter shall be granted an equal right of life
protection as long as he commits no harm and does not act treacherously.
اردو
پناہ گزین سے وہی برتاؤ ہوگا جو اصل (پناہ دہندہ) کے ساتھ، نہ اس کو ضرر پہنچا یا
جائے گا اور نہ خود وہ عہد شکنی کرے گا۔

خواتین کو تحفظ دینے کا قانون
Law of Shelter for the Women
عربی
و أنه لا تجار حرمة إلا بإذن أهلها.
انگلش
A woman shall not be given any shelter without the consent of her family.
اردو
اور کسی عورت کو اس کے خاندان (اہل خانہ ) کی رضا مندی سے ہی پناہ دی جائے گی۔
آرٹیکل نمبر52
ایسے جھگڑوں میں جو باعث جنگ و جدال ہوں، اللہ تعالیٰ اور حضرت محمد رسول اللہ صلی
اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا
حکم و اختیار قطعی ہوگ
Authority of Allah and the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) shall be Final and Absolute
Authority in all Disputes Instigating any Quarrel
عربی
و أنه ما کان بين أهل هذه الصحيفة من حدث، أو اشتجار يخاف فساده، فإن مرده إلي
اﷲ و إلي محمد رسول اﷲ صلي الله عليه وآله وسلم و أن اﷲ علي أتقي ما في هذه الصحيفة و
أبره.

And verily if any dispute arises among the parties to this document from which
any quarrel may be feared, it shall be referred to God and to Muhammad (SAW) ,
the Messenger of God, for the final and absolute decision. Verily, God is the
Guarantee for the faithful observance of the contents of this Constitution
(which shall be enforced by the State) .
اردو
اور یہ کہ اس دستور والوں میں جو بھی قتل یا جھگڑا رونما ہو، جس سے فساد کا ڈر ہو
تو اس میں خدا اور خدا کے رسول محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے رجوع کیا جائے گا
اور خدا اس شخص کے ساتھ ہے جو اس دستور کے مندرجات کی زیادہ سے زیادہ احتیاط اور
زیادہ سے زیادہ وفا شعاری کے ساتھ تعمیل کرے۔
آرٹیکل نمبر53
ریاست مدینہ کے دشمنوں اور ان کے حلیفوں کوپناہ نہیں دی جائے گی
No Refuge for the Enemies of the State nor for Their Allies.
عربی
و أنه لا تجار قريش ولا من نصرها.
انگلش
There shall be no refuge for the Quraysh (the enemies of the State) nor for
their allies.
اردو
اور قریش اور ان کے مددگاروں کو پناہ نہیں دی جائے گی۔
آرٹیکل نمبر54
حملہ کی صورت میں ریاست کا دفاع سب کی مشترکہ
ذمہ داری ہوگی
Joint Responsibility of Defence in Case of an Attack on the State
عربی
و أن بينهم النصر علی من دهم يثرب.
انگلش
The Muslims and the Jews shall be jointly responsible to defend (the State of )
Madina against any outside attack.
اردو
کسی بیرونی حملہ کی صورت میں ریاست مدینہ کا دفاع امداد باہمی کے تحت ان (یہودیوں
اور مسلمانوں) کی مشترکہ ذمہ داری ہوگی۔
آرٹیکل نمبر55
ہر فریق کے لئے معاہدئہامن کی پابندی لازمی ہے
Incumbency of Observance of the Treaty of Peace for Every Ally
عربی
و إذا دعوا إلی صلح يصالحونه ويلبسونه فإنهم يصالحونه و يلبسونه‘ و أنهم إذا دعوا
إلي مثل ذلک فإنه لهم علي المؤمنين.
انگلش
It shall be incumbent upon the Jews to observe and adhere to any peace treaty
they are invited to participate in. Likewise, it shall also be incumbent upon
the Muslims to observe and adhere to any peace treaty, they are invited to.
اردو
اور اگر ان (یہودیوں) کو کسی صلح میں مدعو کیا جائے تو وہ بھی صلح کریں گے اور اس
میں شریک رہیں گے اور اگر وہ کسی ایسے ہی امر کے لئے بلائیں تو مومنین کا بھی فریضہ
ہوگا کہ ان کے ساتھ ایسا ہی کریں۔
آرٹیکل نمبر56
کوئی بھی معاہدہ حفاظت دین کی ذمہ داری کو
معطل نہیں کرسکتے
No Treaty shall Suspend or Negate the Responsibility of the Protection of Deen
عربی
(فإنه لهم علی المؤمنين) إلا من حارب فی الدين.
انگلش
(Likewise, it shall be incumbent upon the Muslims also to observe and adhere to
any peace treaty that they are invited to) , but no treaty will restrain them
from fighting for the protection of their Deen.
اردو
(اسی طرح مسلمانوں پر لازم ہے کہ اگر انہیں کسی امن معاہدہ میں شرکت کی دعوت دی
جائے تو وہ اس کی مکمل پابندی کریں) بجز اس کے کہ کوئی دینی جنگ کرے۔
آرٹیکل نمبر57
ہر فریق معاہدہ پر اس کے بالمقابل سمت کی مدافعت کی
ذمہ داری ہوگی
Every Party to Treaty shall be Responsible for the Defence of its Facing
Direction
عربی
علی کل أناس حصتهم من جانبهم الذی قبلهم.
انگلش
Every party to the treaty shall be responsible for the measures and arrangements
of the defence of its facing direction.
اردو
ہر گروہ کے حصے میں اسی رخ کی (مدافعت ) آئے گی جو اس کے بالمقابل ہو۔
آرٹیکل نمبر58
اس دستور کے بنیادی اراکین اور ان کے حلیف ایک جیسی آئینی حیثیت کے حامل ہوں گے
The Basic Constituent Members of this Document and their Associates shall
Possess the Equal Constitutional Status
عربی
و أن يهود الأوس مواليهم و أنفسهم علی مثل ما لأهل هذه الصحيفة مع البر المحض
من أهل هذه الصحيفة.
انگلش
The Jews of Aws (one of the basic constituent members of this document) and
their allies shall possess the same constitutional status as the other parties
to this document, with a condition that they should be thoroughly sincere and
honest in their dealing with the parties.
اردو
اور (قبیلہ) اوس کے یہودیوں کو۔ ۔ ۔ موالی ہوں یا اصل۔۔ ۔ وہی حقوق حاصل ہوں گے

دستور کی مخالفت کی اجازت کسی کو نہیں ہوگی
No Party shall have any Right of Violation of the Constitution
عربی
و أن البردون الإثم لا يکسب کاسب إلا علی نفسه.
انگلش
No party shall have the right to violate the constitution. Every person who is
guilty of a crime shall be held responsible for his act alone.
اردو
اور وفا شعاری ہوگی نہ کہ عہد شکنی۔ جو جیسا کرے گا ویسا ہی خود بھرے گا۔

الوھی حمایت دستور کی پابندی سے مشروط ہوگی
Favour of Almighty Allah will be Subject to the Observance of the Constitution
عربی
و أن اﷲ علی أصدق ما فی هذه الصحيفه و أبره.
انگلش
Verily, God is the Guarantee for the faithful observance of the contents of this
Constitution (which shall be enforced by the State) .
اردو
اور خدا اس کے ساتھ ہے جو اس دستور کے مندرجات کی زیادہ سے زیادہ صداقت اور زیادہ
سے زیادہ وفا شعاری کے ساتھ تعمیل کرے۔
آرٹیکل نمبر61
کسی ظالم اور باغی کو اس دستور کی حفاظت میسر نہیں ہوگی
No Traitor or Oppressor shall have the Right of Protection under this Document
عربی
و أنه لا يحول هذا الکتاب دون ظالم أو آثم.

Verily, this constitutional document shall not protect any traitor or oppressor.
اردو
اور یہ دستوری دستاویز کسی ظالم یا عہد شکن کو تحفظ فراہم نہیں کر ے گی۔
آرٹیکل نمبر62
تمام پر امن شہریوں کے لئے یقینی امن و حفاظت ہوگی
All Peaceful Citizens would be in a Save and Secure Protection
عربی
و أنه من خرج آمن ومن قعد آمن بالمدينة، إلا من ظلم و أثم.
انگلش
Verily, whoever goes out (on a military expedition) shall be provided with
security and whoever stays in Madina shall have (likewise) , except those who
commit oppression and violate the contents of this Constitution.
اردو
اور جو جنگ کو نکلے وہ بھی امن کا مستحق ہوگا اور جو مدینے میں بیٹھ رہے تو وہ بھی
امن کا مستحق ہوگا، سوائے اس کے جو ظلم اور قانونشکنی کا مرتکب ہو۔
آرٹیکل نمبر 63
اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے رسول محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر امن اور دستور کے پابند شہریوں کے محافظ اور
ضامن ہیں
Allah and His Prophet Muhammad (SAW) are the Protectors of the Peaceful Citizens
of Madina who Abide by the Constitution
عربی
و أن اﷲ جارلمن بر واتقی، و محمد رسول اﷲ صلی الله عليه وآله وسلم .
انگلش
Verily, Allah and the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) , the Messenger of God, are the
protectors of good citizens and of those who fear from Allah.
اردو
جو اس دستور کے ساتھ وفا شعار رہے اور نیکی و امن پر کاربند رہے، اللہ اور اس کے
رسول محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اس کے محافظ و نگہبان ہیں۔
